We will re-open Saturday morning at our regular time and will have a special suprise for those that make it to class that day. While I can't tell tell your what it is, for some of you it will be well worth your time to make it if you're in town.

• Wednesday 23rd - Open (Sensei will be here for classes)
• Thursday 24th (Thanksgiving Day) - Closed
• Friday 25th (Black Friday) - Closed - Yes we will be having our very own black friday specials
• Saturday 26th - Open (Special~Secret Event)

We want to take a moment to remind all of our students and families that in addition to starting the mad dash to the end of the year and the joyous Christmas Holiday, that its a time to reflect and give thanks for the blessings in our lives. Be with family or friends and even though we may have struggled or experienced hardships or loss this past year, look at the grace we're given and the amazing blessings of what we do have. A strong body to train - when others can't rise from their beds, food to feed ourselves beyond what our bodies need - when others don't know when their next meal may be, friends or family to share with - when others are so far away from home.

The 3rd annual AOKA Kyu Fest Tournament is Saturday September 24th from 11am until 3pm. This event is an Invitational and open only to students of Isshin Ryu Karate, under the rank of black belt - so for many of our students this may be their last year to compete in this event before moving up to the Black Belt challenge in the spring.

The Kyu fest is a highly organized event which runs ON TIME and features the fairest judging around. Students will be competing against other Isshin Ryu students from different schools in the region and being judged by Isshin Ryu Black belts, Instructors, and Masters.

This is the largest event of its kind in the region and the last outside competition of the year. Go out and have some fun.

Registration for Competition at the Door is $50 for the first event, and $10 for each addtional event. Basics Division (beginner kids) is only $5.00

Spectator Admission is only $5 - children 5 & under are free - come out and cheer on the team...!
